Metabase
Self-hostable BI that business users can actually use. Our default dashboard tool.
Metabase is an open-source business intelligence tool that lets non-technical users ask questions of a database through a point-and-click interface, while power users drop into raw SQL. It runs anywhere Postgres runs, and it doesn't charge per seat like the enterprise incumbents.
Deliberate, not decorative.
We deploy Metabase against a clean analytics schema — either directly on the production Postgres read replica or on BigQuery — and build the dashboards a client actually looks at every Monday. Operators get a question-builder they understand; we get a SQL editor for anything exotic.
- Executive dashboards tracking revenue, churn, and lead quality
- Operations dashboards for fulfilment and support teams
- Ad-hoc questions from finance that used to require an analyst
- Embedded dashboards in client portals for white-label reporting
- Monthly reports stitched together by hand in Google Sheets
- Per-seat BI pricing that blocks the whole team from seeing the data
- Dashboards that exist but nobody trusts because the numbers never match

Want help putting Metabase to work?
We design, build, and maintain systems around Metabase every week. If you have a problem it could solve, let’s talk about what to build.
