POPIA Compliance Statement

LinxAI complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA). This statement explains what personal information we collect, how it is used, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Information we collect

• Name, email address, company, and phone number — submitted via our contact form or strategy-call booking.
• Communication metadata — emails sent to and from hello@linxai.co.za.
• Usage analytics — anonymous page-view and event data via Google Analytics 4.

2. Where it is stored

• Application data: Supabase (EU region).
• Hosting & edge: Vercel (multi-region).
• Email: Resend (US region).
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (Google Cloud).

3. Purpose of collection

We collect personal information solely to deliver our services, communicate with current and prospective clients, send invoices, and improve the site. We do not sell or rent personal information.

4. Third-party processors

The following operators may process personal information on our behalf:

• Supabase — application database & authentication.
• Vercel — site hosting and edge delivery.
• Resend — transactional and marketing email.
• Google (GA4) — analytics.
• Stripe — payment processing (when billing).
• Cal.com / Calendly — call scheduling.

5. Data retention

Client and lead records are retained for as long as there is a legitimate business purpose, and for the periods required by South African tax and commercial law (typically 5 years after the last engagement). Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

6. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Object to processing for direct marketing purposes.
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
